Restaurant Sign.—Chop and stakes sold in here. One chop, 50 sen; one mistake, same too. Chinese Dress Maker’s Sign.— Shirts for maid ladies; ladies undress quick; no waits or measures. Barber’s Sign.—. Man’s hair cut off, also face. Ladies’ hair washed and ironed (59 sen each hair). Laundry Bill.—Trousers, 10 sen; married trousers, 15 sen.; she shirt, 25 sen; he shirt, 20 sen. Lot foot bags, 50 yen; lot leg bags, 75 yen. Ladies’ front backs, no can washee. Taildr’s S^gn.—‘Man’s pressed if they wish; ladies sent for, 25 yen a press. Butcher’s Sign.—Mr Chin Soo, butcher of English. Man’s rump stakee (velly nice). Ladies’ fat leg of muttee, more better. Mustn’t chop (no bobbery). Troop of sassages. DRAPER’S NOTICES. Ladies’ Camelsold: Allee lacee. Ladids’ Chemizole: Velly warm. Ladies’ Conflomation: Plenty room. Ladies’ Undervest: Velly cheap. Under that ask inside. Cobler’s Shop Sign.—-Man sold and eeled; ladies also mended, 1 yen each foot. Dairy Sign.—Cow’s milk from the ox.
