AS REPORTED IN THE WAIPA POST ON DECEMBER Ist 1911. The running of the Main Trunk express is altered as from to-day, the north bound express leaving Te Awamutu at 2.57 a.m. (instead of 3.2 a.m.) and the south bound at 1.4 a.m. (instead of 1.9 a.m.). At a football social at Otorohanga on Saturday medals were presented to the successful players in the team winning the Chilcott Cup. The players were D. Turner, W. Paton, S. 8., R. A., H. W., T. G., and J. R. Clarke, H. Mexted, R. Holden, T. Emery, J. McColl, T. Turner, R. Symes, N. Prime, H. Jacobson, J. Harris S. O. Ellis, C. Wilson, C. Edwards and J. C. Eveleigh. The club secretary is Mr J. Worthington. The General Elections are to take place next Thursday. For Waikato the candidates are H. J. Greenslade and J. A. Young. For Raglan the candidates are Allen Bell, R. F. Bollard, J. C. Dromgool, W. Duncan and R. B. D. Hewatt.
