HAUNTED RED
Though she has been flung out of a mysterius four-poster bed and received repeated warnings of evil Miss Blanche Squire, of Dalling Road, Hammersmith, in England, refuses to part with it. It is an elaborately carved bed, heavily gilded. According to psychic experts it is surrounded by an aura of terror. ' “People have told me that the only way to get rid of the evil influence surrounding it, is to have it burned. I have been told that not once, but many times,” Miss Squires told an interviewer. Recently Mrs Estelle Roberts, the famous medium, called to see the bed. Speaking in a state of clairvoyance, she said that 306 years ago a Frencn nobleman was attacked and murdered while he was asleep in the bed. Miss Squire, a grey-haired elderly women, said that once she was thrown clean out of the bed when she was sound asleep. “I am determined to get to the bottom of the mystery. I shall sleep in the bed until I find out its secret.”
