TE AWAMUTU STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. Ltd. report having held their Te Awamutu stock sale on Thursday, when only a small yarding of sheep, comprising mostly fats, came forward, these selling well at late rates. Cattle: A full yarding with a good proportion of well finished cattle. The market opened easier at the start but firmed towards the finish and prime quality remained unchanged. Second quality and boner cows were in full supply with no change. Young Jersey cows were keenly sought. A fair entry ot store cattle changed hands readily. Pigs: A full yarding met with steady sale, prices being firm for baconers at late rates, whilst good quality stores and weaners were keenly sought. We quote: Sheep: Medium fat ewes 26s iOd to 28s 6d, lighter 24s to 25s 6d, prime fat hoggets 29s 6d to 30s lOd, medium 24s 2d to 265. WAINGARO STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual stock sale at Waingaro on Thursday. There was a moderate yarding and a good attendonce ot buyers. Under keen competition there was a total clearance effected at the following rates: On account of Messrs Magill Bros. 18 P.A. steers £8 15s, on account ot Mr W. R Dimmock 10 2 year old crossbred steers £6 Is, on account Mr R. E. McClure 18 yearling P.A. steers £6 2s, 9 P.A. heifers £5 ,4s, a pen of aged Hereford cows in calf to P.A bull £5 19s, on account of Mr W. R. Dimmock a pen of Shorthorn heifers springing to calve £6 10s, on account of Mi A. a. Tapp 4 year pedigree Jersey bull £8 Bs, 3 year pedigree Jersey bull 101 gns, on account oi other vendors dairy cows £B, £7 15s, £6. MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual stock sale at Morrinsville on Friday. There was a medium yarding of cattle and a full bench of buyers. Competition was keen at full late rates and a total clearance was effected. The following are our quotations: Fat cows £6 12s 6d to £8 ss, forward conditioned and fleshy cows £4 8s to £5 16s, boner cows £2 15s to £3 ss, light ditto 25s to £2 3s, 2 year empty heifers £3 Is to £3 16s, yearling Jersey heifers £4 5s to £4 15s, Friesian yearling heifers (small) £3 3s, dairy heifers springing to calve, medium quality £6 10s to £7 ss, small and backward £5 to £5 ss.
