The Kihikihi Bowling Club has been holding a series of euchre parties to increase interest in the Club during the winter months, and the last one, on Tuesday evening last, saw Mrs Cran and Mr Chas. Wilson the winners. The aggregate winners for the series were M.rs Blackburn and Mr W. Martin. The president, Mr C. J. Murphy, congratulated the winners, and heartily thanked, on behalf of the Club, all who had assisted to make the evenings a success, particularly mentioning Mrs Kerr for her exceptionally valuable help, and Mr and Mrs Chas. Wilson. It is understood that another series of euchre parties is to commence next week, and endeavours are being made to secure a larger participation, it being remarked that several club members and other residents of the township have not been giving the functions the support that was expected.
