COURSING CLUB

FORMED IN TE AROHA Very keen interest was taken in the meeting called for Saturday night in Mr Manners’ rooms for the purpose of forming a Coursing Club. There was a large attendance, over which Mr A. Charters presided, and much enthusiasm was shown. The prospects for having a strong Club were considerel good. It was reported that hares were plentiful in the district and all the conditions necessary to the success of the Club were assured. It was decided to form a Club to be known as the Thames Valley Coursing Club, of which Mr R. Coulter was electer president, Messrs Lewis and Edmonds auditors, and Mr A. Charters secretary. Other officers are to be appointed at the next meeting.
