CATHOLIC SOCIAL

A very successful social was held in the Theatre Royal on Tuesday evening last, in aid of the Farmers’ Stall at the forthcoming Catholic Bazaar. Praise is due to the Misses McGrath and Fitzgerald and their willing helpers for the excellent manner in which the evening’s entertainment was conducted. The music rendered by Darby’s orchestra was all that could be desired. Messrs Revell and Aislabie acted as M.’sC. The function was a decided financial success, and the farmers’ stall should derive considerable help from the event.
