A LASTING PEACE

The foundations of world-peace have been well and truly laid; but the super-structure must not be built in undue haste. Such is the opinion of Mr Ramsay MacDonald on the achievements of the League at the Assembly he attended. It was unanimously 'Bedded that an international conference on armaments should be convoked by the League at the earliest possible date. But first of all a committee of the League must complete the necessary preliminary work.
