BESSIE BARRISUALE in “ THE WOMAN MICHAEL MARRIED ” In “ The Woman Michael Married,’’ which heads the brl at the Theatre Royal this evening,. lovely Bessie Barriacale sustnina reputation as one of the most versatile actresses on the screen. In her brilliant career MLs Barriscala lus created many diversified characterisations from the blase society womai to the “ slavey *’ among crooks, but this is the first time she has been called upon to do the ‘‘Annette Kellerman” stunt. As Mira Sacky, the blonde star is seen as a professional swimmer who in addition to her “shape ” and acquatio talenis, has a really beau'iful voice and an ambition to cultivate it and become a great Binger.* The locale affords many opportunities and lavish colorful backgrounds, one of the striking and realistic scenes being a swimming-pool where a fashionable dinner party is in progress, the gnests being olothed—or rather unclothed—in the latest and most modish bathing suits. A splendid supporting programme will include a Pathe Comedy featuring the irrepressible STiub Pollard in “ Doing Time.” The first episode of a new serial entitled *• Smashing Barriers, ’’ al o the final episode of “ The Branded Pour.”

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Only WILLIAM FARNUM in “THE SCUTTLERS’’ A FOX ROYALTY MASTERPIECE A thrilling story of the sea, - “ The Scuttlers,” a big William Fox production with William Farnum as the star will be the feature at fraction at the Theatre Royal tomorrow evening.
