AJnew plan for the distribution of milk has come into force at Halstead, England. With the co-operation of tho Pood Committee the town has , been divided into areas, one of which has been allotted to each retailer, who is serving all the houses in his district, and people are expected to purchase their supplies from him alone. By this means it is poped to secure a more equitable distribution of milk thau was possible last winter, and it will have the effect also of obviating tbe overlapping which has been responsible for so much loss of time and money in the past.
