” BLUEBEARD ”
Most people are satisfied with only one wife. There are a few who can manage with two, but ‘‘ Bluebeard ” will show on Tuesday night at the Theatre Royal what happens to the man who, not content with one or two, has proclivities which induce him to tackle more. The pautomine “ Bluebeard,” abounds with episodes, beautiful music, gorgeous ballets, and the thousand aud one etceteras which go to make the successful modem prodution. The cast
comprises thirty performers and some weJl-knowu artists—Miss Kathlyn Mack, Miss Mollio King, Mr Charley Howard, Miss Nellie Power, Miss Vera Tandy, and Bob Lloyd, will be seen to advantage iu the principal characters. The chorus is a powerful one, and the minor parts are in the hands of capable artists. Mr Harry Taylor, author and composer of “ Bluebeard,” “ Humpty-Dumpty,” “ The House that Jaok Built,” “ BoPeep,” and other pantomine successes is personally snpervising the production. Specialties are the Two Sinclairs, whirlwind dancers; Miss Emily Davi, Lyric Soprano; and a feature in itself, the Royal Pantomine orchestra. Nothing will be omitted by making “ Bluebeard ” on Thursday night a night of nights in the annals of Te Aroha amusements. Prices are 4s, 3s, and 2s, children half-price. The box plan is now open at Jacksons, and no extra charge is made for booking. Patrons are advised to attend early and secure a comfortable seat.
