AITOA DRAINAGE BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE CLASSIFICATION LIST OPEN FOR INSPECTION PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the above Board has caused to bo classifiei all the lands within the Western Area Subdivision of the Waitoa Drainage District, in terras of Sections 33 and 34 of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and all Amendments thereto, and the Classification List of W. R. Johnson, Esq., of Waihou, is now open for the inspection of ratepayers at the Office of the Board, Waihou, and at the residence of D. F. Watson, Esq., No. 4 Road, Waitoa, during erdinary office hours. Any objections to the aforesaid List must be handed to the Clerk S.M. Court, Te Aroha, within seven clays next after the expiration of 21 days now appointed for the inspection of said List, and seven clear days notice of smh appeal shall be given to the Board before the day for hearing the appeal. AITOA DRAINAGE board RATES, 1917-18 NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 50 of the ** Rating Act, 1908,” and Amendments thereto, that it is the intention of the Waitoa Drainage Board, at its next meeting to be held at Waihon on SATURDAY, the 9th day of June, 1917, at the hour of 10.30 a.m , to make and levy under Section 31 of the “Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and Section 3 of the “ Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,” differential general rates according to the requirements of each respective subdivision of the Waitoa Drainage District, on a graduated scale according to the classification of lands in the Western, Eastern, Central, Whahahoro, Te Kahia, and Tatuauui Subdivisions of the Waitoa Drainage District as follows : WESTERN SUBDIVISION—Upon all lands classified “ A,” one penny half penny ; upon all lands classified “ B,” one penny farthing ; and upon all lands classified “ C,” one penny. EASTERN SUBDIVISION—Upon all lands classified “ A,” one penny half penny ; upon all lands classified “ B,” one penny farthing ; and upon all lands classified “ 0,” one penny. CENTRAL SUBDIVISION—Upon all lands classified “ A,” one penny half penny ; upon all lands classified B,” one penny farthing ; and upon all lands classified “ C,” one penny. WHAKAHORO SUBDIVISION— Upon all lands classified “ A,’ one penny half penny ; upon all lands classified “ B,” one penny farthing; and upon all lands classified “ C,” one penny. TE KAHIA SUBDIVISION—Upon all lands classified “A,’’ one penny half penny ; upon all lands classified “ B,’’ one penny farthing ; and upon all lends classified “ C,” one penny. TATUANUI SUBDIVISION. Upon all lands classified “ A," one penny ; upon all lands clasfied ‘‘ B,” three farthings ; and upon all lands classified '• C,” one halfpenny, all per pound on the rateable value for the period from the first day of April, 1917, to the 31st day of March, 1918, all payable in one sum to the undersigned on the 23rd day of June, 1917, at the office of the Board, Waihou, where the Ratepayers’ List and Rate Rooks are open for inspection during ordinary office hours.} W.
