SCHOOL ELECTIONS
TE AROHA WEST The annual meeting of the householders was held in the school room on Monday evening. There was a large attendance, and much interst was displayed in the voting. The secretary read the annual report of last year, after which a hearty vote of thanks to the outgoing committee was recorded. The following are members of the new committee ; J. King (chairman), G. Wood (secretary), C. Foote, P. Walsh, and W. Mohkley. After the election, the new committee met and decided to hold meetings on the first Monday in each month. Other matters were arranged for the forthcoming year. WAIORONGOMAI The following were elected a school committee for the coming year Mrs Porter, and Messrs Bath (chairman), Tallentire, Hamilton, and McSweeney (secretary). ELSTOW F. M. Strange, F. Flowerday, J. L‘ Arndt, C. E. Grainger, and W. G Cooper were elected. WAIHOU. The householders’ meeting lapsed for lack of attendance. MANCAITI, School affairs at Mangaiti will be managed by a Commissioner during he coming year.
