'O Stand the Season at Mata* X mata, the well-known roadster stallion Woodstock Sire—Patchem, Dam Chessy Woodstock was bred by C. J" Storey, Esq, Te Awamutu, and is by the imported roadster stallion Patchem, from Chessy, who is by" the well-known Merrylegs, from an imported Arab mare. He is therefore a full brother to Dandy, champion cob of Australasia. Woodstock is undoubtedly the best horse of his class that has ever stood in the Dominion. He has an unbeaten show-ring record, gaining first prize as a roadster and also as trotting stallion on several occasions.' This horse’s stock needs no recommendation to the public, as most of the horses in the; hacks’ and hunters’ classes at the Waikato shows are by Woodstock. He is sire of Lonely, champion hack of the Auckland and Waikato Shows three years in succession ; also of Ringwood, whose son Gaiety was runner-up to Lonely for Champion honours. Among other of his gets are Jacko, Mars, Count, Lady Molly, Ronaki, Jock, and a host of others too numerous to mention. From the foregoing it will be seen that Woodstock has proved himself to be a horse of the highest standard, and he should be an acquisition to the district. Open to a limited number oi mares at £3 lOs, payable on the Ist January. 1916. Good grazing at 2s per week. Wet mares, 2s 6d. All care taken, but no responsibility. For further particulars apply to POLLARD BROS, Matamata Or F. Drake. Groom-in-Charge.
