The Farmers’ Auctioneering Co,, Ltd, report : HAMILTON SALE At Hamilton, on Thursday, we held our weekly stock sale, and yarded 971 sheep, 140 ’pigs and 445 head cattle. Beef was a little easier than the previous week, but sheep, store cattle and pigs were about the same. We quote Fat shorn ewes 235, shorn hoggets 19s sd, shorn ewes with lambs 295, cat steers £l3 10s to, £l4 15s. crime heavy fat cows £\\ 12s del to £l2 7s |6d, medium quality £8 12s to £lO 3s, fresh conditioned cows £7' 15s to £8 3s, two year empty heifers 85 to £5 ss,* 12 to 15 months deers £3 7s 6d to £4 1 Os, 12 to 15. months heifers £2 10s 'o £3 7s 6d. Pigs: Weaners 14s 6d to 20s, slips 24s to 275, jorke;’s £2 3s to £2 1 Is, sows 62 15s. Dairy cows on account of Mr Andrew Primrose from £8 5s to £l7 10s.
