Waikato Winter Show
TO OPEN TO-MORROW The Waikato Winter Show will open at Hamilton, to-morrow. Visitors to the show this year will have a much larger array of exhibits to inspect than at any previous one. Innovations are being made that will commend themselves to the visitors, and nothing that will add to their comfort and convenience will be left undone. As to the exhibits themselves, the lists are heavy ones. From far and near the greatest number of entries in any competitive exhibition has been gathered together that has ever been held in the Australasian colonies. This year’s record will be one that will difficult to displace by any future show. The exhibits also promise to be far above the average, and in many classes the competition is between champions. Field and garden produce will naturally take pride of place. In all classes for butter and cheese the entries are far ahead of those of last year, and the majority of the factories throughout «-Yhe Dominion are represented. A special feature will be the conference of factory managers, which isto be held on Wednesday next. It is expected that fully 200 managers will be present at the conference. Several important subjects associated with the dairying industry will be dealt with by experts. The arrangements in connection with the Show are very forward, and by to-night everything will be in readiness for the opening.
