The Annual meeting of the Te Aroha Cycle Club was held last evening. It was decided to foster touring as well as cycle racing. A report of the meeting is held over until next issue.

At the meeting of the Matamata County Council this week, a letter was read from the Piako County Council relative to the drain on the Wardville road (better known as the Gordoii-Wa! aoa road), asking that private owners he not allowed to drain in to it.—’Hie supervisor of roads said the council had not cut - the drain through to the Wardville road : but the Wlianpa roa Swamp Company, he believed, had done so.
