Sculling Championship.

Barry and Diirnan.

London, October 9

Barry and Durnan have completed their deposits in connection with their forthcoming sculling match for the championship of the world on the 14th inst. Both men are fit and well.

Durnan is finding the whole of his own stake, and Barry is finding £350 Of his.

In addressing a meeting of London oarsmen Purnan stated that it was impossible fora Northern sculler to sijccessfully row in Australia, owing to the climate.
