Sir,—A fair time has now lapsed since I wrote to your paper drawing attention to the outrageous prices charged by the Te Aroha butchers for meat, As a woman, and one who has the looking after the bills, I waited on a number of housewives and all are of opinion that Messrs Hedge and Smith and John Rowe should bring down their prices more in keeping with other places. If not, we will have to band together and get our meat from Moninsville, or else start a Co-operative Butchery. We want the butchers of Te Aroha to say in your next paper what they intend doing in this matter. We want an answer one way or another. —I am, etc.,
