The following tenders have been dealt with by the Piako County Council Executive

Contract No. 46. Grading, forming road, and making spoil drains on Tahuna Hoad, from Ohinemuri County boundary towards Morrinsville, distance *lB chains : Stanley Bros. £229 (accepted) ; R. Stanley, £260. Contract No. 47.—Grading and Forming 174 chains, and making spoil drains on Tahuna Road near Martin’s property : Stanley Bros £219 10s ; R. Stanley £239. Both tenders were considered too highland it was decided that fresh tenders be invited at the next meeting of the Council. Contract No. 48. —Building single span bridge on Thames • Waikato Road, past Gifford’s, Morrinsville : Sherer and Given, £135 15s (accepted); A. J. Forrest, £159 15s; White and Law, £lB9 13s. Contract Nor 49. — Carting 500 cubic yards of sand on to the Ngutumanga Road near Magill’s property : S. Mcßibbin, Is 2d a yard (accepted) ; McSweeney Is 5d Contract No. 50.- —Widening about 70 chains of road side drains on Gratton’s Road from Railway Crossing to Stanley Road : W. Thompson 11s per chain (accepted) ; Stanley Bros. 13s 6a.
