London, March 9. Dr A Stein, leader of the Indian Government Mission to Central Asia, returned to London after journeying 10 000 miles in some of the wildest ana bleakest regions of the earth’s surface. ‘ The journey occupied three years. Dr Stein detailed before the Royal Geographic il Society the discovers in Chinese Turkestan of thousands of ancient documents, some bearing Greeseals. He also found wo >den records ot Chinese trading and unliUry occupation before the time of Christ to 800 A.D. H* discovered that the great wa'l once continued a long distance westward of what are considered its furthest limits. Hr. Stein’s is one of the most interesting stories told for many years.
