British Money Squandered.
PEKIN, March 9. De Mohkinson, the Pekin correspondent of the ■* Times,” who has returned fro a visit to Shanghai, Hanchow Nmgpo Railway, states that a million and a-halt of British money is being squander owing to the Chinese disregarding the terms of contract requiring British supervision and the use of British materials. Eveiy important stipulation ot financi contract is being violated.
