Tennis Match.
WAIHOU V. WAIATA. A most enjoyable afternoon was spent by lovers of the racquet at Waihou on Saturday afternoon last, when the above match eventuated on the new court. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies. The games played resulted as follows : The first-mentioned represented Waihou - -—Combined Doubles— Miss Taylor and Mr Weir (6) v. Miss A. Scherer and Mr Torrens (1). Miss Abbey and Mr Larney (5) v. Miss W. Sherer and Mr A. Donovan (6). Miss L. Burke and Mr Percy (0) v Miss W. Scherer aud Mr E. Donovan (6) Miss H. Scherer and Mr Sutton (6) v Miss I. Burke and Mr H. Percy (4). —Gents Doubles— Messrs Weir and Larney (4) v. Messrs Torrens and A. Donovan (6). Messis M. Percy and Larney (0) v, Messrs E.
