Return of American Fleet.

THE WELCOME HOME. New Yokk, February 21. Elaborate preparations are being made to welcome home the American battleship fleet on its return to Hampton Hoads after being round the world on a cruise, tomopow. A number of exclusion vessels which charge an exhorbitant price are going out to meet the returning battle ■ ship fleet on|arrival at Hampton Boads, off New York, and which left on December 16th, 1907. They have voyaged a distance of 42,227 miles. The sixteen ships will be augumented by other vessels on returning, making a total of 25 to steam iiito the roadstead to-day.
