PAKURANGA RACING CLUB MEETING.

The feature of the Pakuranga Racing Club Meeting on Saturday last wa3 HarryHarrisons dual success with Major Geoige's cast-off Raglan. Although on the stout side, the son of Cap a-pie won both the Maiden Plate and Tamaki Cup in an ea°y manner. Patchwork's running was a great disappointment. He had been hignly tried three days previous with Raglan, and beat him badly, but when it came to racing on Satuiday ho unmistakeablv " cut it." and &o did Eruption, who with Patchwork were the two best-conditioned horses that ran in the race. There was general satisfaction at Harrisons success, for he is one of the most deserving and straightest trainers we have.
