Thames, Dec. 7. Cambkia. — Seven block&> of ground in this mine are to be let on tribute in the course of the next few flays.

Warden's Court. — lleference was made by Mr .Northcrofc in the Warden's Courb yesterday to the delay in granting licensed holdings caused by the surveyors not completing the tur\ey^ -within a leasonable peiiod, and lie intimated that in future when such long delays took place he intended to a^U the Burveyoi -General to cancel the order instructing that surveyor to do the work, and have someone el?e nominated who would finish it. Tue delaj , which was sometimes several months, wa^, of course, intentional, being for the purpose of having the gtound protected, but he did nob think it right that the surveyors should lend themselves to such a thing. The lowest tender in each case has been accepted by the Directors of the Champion G.S.M., Tui, for extensive works in connection with ihe development ot the property and work will be commenced without j delay.
