A PROTEST.
(To the Editor). Sir, — lii your Wednesday's issue I saw' a letter was received by the Gorernors oHhe Thames High School from Mr Thbs. Murray, suggesting that they should eject me'f rohiS'ections 2 and 3 of the Board's Endowment, Waiorongomai. I -don't understand Mr Murray's way of doing, business, but hewas the original owner of the land until he sold it to me. Now, £ if Mr Murray wants the land back why* does he riot; eject me ? Because he jkhows that he cannot I He knows that he has; received of hard oash ; L5O at one payment, and LlO at another. When I paid the LlO I was to • havejthe transfer the -following week; instead of that I never, received "the transfer, and the last I heard of Mr Murray he was .aqtqplly offering my'land for sale. Now Mj'. Murray, owe-1 back- arrears of rent on this'land before I bought it, which he 'hns/neverp"aid r up"£o this, and that is the AT.aspn I cannot get the transfer.
