GREYMOUTH COAL SUPPLY,

Messrs Stone Bros, have been under negotiations with the Grey mouth Coal Company for several dayb, with the view of obtaining a supply for steamers, and fpr the Auckland Gas Company, and this morning they received information that their orders would be attended to. They have agreed to supply 3,000 tons for the Gas Company, and also coal for the steamers of the Colonial Union Company, the latter arrangement being additional to the arrangements made with the Kamo Company for coaling the Balmoral Castle.
