Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Clnibtchurch, suburban electorates will each lose a member in consequence of the reduction of members. The "Post" on tlie Crisis. The " Post" waxes very wrath over the crisis. It says, " The House has submitted to be browbeaten and bullied intft etultifyiug itself by reversing a very propeir decision, it had come to the picvious night as to the date in which the Representation Act is to come into force. We decline to believe that the Premiereversoriously intended to fulfil liis threat about resigning if the Houfre had remained firm and refused to ensure his tenure of omce for the next three years, and with this act on the Statute Book Major Atkinson will be completely master of the situation. Bounce has succeeded admirably, and the Vogel bogey has been used with triumphant success to frighten membersoutof their wit§ and. induce them to play into the hands of the Premier.
