The suggested amendments will be forwarded to Pailiamenh tO'inorrov* in the form of a potilion, a.i lollow^:— (1), "That no area of new goldhclds should exceed ten acres in extent for the fubt foua 1 years ; (2) that one a (.-to bhouhl be the extent allowed to one man, and that in a claim or licensed holding, one man be employed to every acie ; (3) that on the- receipt of application, the Wai den sliall cause the survey to be made and lodged within thirty days ; and (4) that men woikinj* on tribute in p round held on lcaf-c or license shall not count as manning such. Giound."
