NATIONALIST MEETING.
Melbourne, Wednesday. A meeting of the Irish Nationalist party washeld in the Hibernian Hall lasfc evening, at which 1,200 persons were present, Sir Bryan O'Loughlin presiding. Kesolutions were adopted expressing sympathy with the Irish people in the presont state of Ireland, upwards of .£4OO being subscribed in the room towards the assistance of evicted tenants. •
Sydney, November 23. In tho Assembly last night, Mr Copeland's motion for an import duty on grain was adjourned.
London, November 21. P. and O. steamship Rome, from Melbourne (October 6), arrived at Plymouth yesterday (Sunday) evening.
