Dog whistlin' through the day, twa gills, 2d. Consoling wi Jock Macdonald over the loss o' his wife, f ower gills, 4d 0 7 Wednesday. — Market Day. Forgatherins, sax gills, 6d. Dog whistlin', twa gills, 2d. Gills wi iolk I hae nao mind o' whatever, 4d. Gill wi the man that sang " Auld Lang Syne," Id 1 1 Thursday. — A gilfto try to bring to mind vvhaur 1 peeled ma kmickles in a poleetical argument, Id. Introducing Jock Macdonald to a likely lass ta male' his second wife, twa gills, 2d. Sundry dog whibtlin's, twa gills, 2d 0 5 Friday. — Amang the sheep, fortifyin' myseP for Jock Maedonald's wife's funeral in the afternoon, twa gills, 2d. Anither on the road to keep mysel' iiae greeting for the puir body, Id. Dog whistlin', Id. The funeral, sax gills, 6d 0 10 .Saturday. — To keep the mint oot o' ma plaid, the holes no being mendit, a gill, Id. (hieing in the banns for Jock Maedonald's marriage, fower gills, 4d. Dog whistlin' and forgatherm's, throe gills. 3d. ... 0 8 Sunday. — The Saw bath Day. A wee drap to clear ma throat for crying on ma dog, a gill, Id. Anither at Luckie'b when the bells arc ringing, Id. Some brandy, oo as not to be takin 1 the smell o' whiskey into the Lord.-, House, 2d.
