A youth named Hood, residing in St. jjoonards, near Geelong, Victoria, shot his brother in a fit of paaeion. It appears that Hood, who is deaf and dumb, was teasing a bores in charge of his brother, when the horse kicked him. Bis brother made signs to Hood that he had been served rightly. The mute then flew into rage and struck his brother, then rnshed into the house, fot ft shot gun and fired, wounding his rother in the arm and leg.
