FURIOUS RIDING.
(to the editor.) Sir, — Allow me to call your attention to the dangerous practice of " Furious Riding," by many of the eirand boys in tin? "i.uv. Tliev, and also two or three iiun in pauicuiar, as soon as they turn v\ tne •• Palace Hotel," set off, at mA ?rcc I to Johnson's shop, turning that vLr.,_i.TOus corner without slackenIn,: a lea, and only a day or two since i saw a nurse girl nearly run over there, it being a miracle bow she and the baby escaped; the only answer she received being a sneering. " Why don't you look out," or something to that effect. A word of advice from the storekeepers to their boys, may perhaps save some of them having to stand their trial for manslaughter ; the men I hope will hare better sense than repeat ifc. — I am, &c, Parent. Te Aroha, Xov. 12th, 188 G. [We hope the above remonstrance will have the de ired effect, and the very 1 eprehensible and dangerous practice referred to by our correspondent be put a stop to. — Ei>. A.O.K.
