DEATHS FROM FOOTBALL. (BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Dukedin, Juno 23. It is alleged that two recent deaths in Dunedin resulted from the dangerous style in which football is now played. The " Star " callH on the Rugby Union to interfere to chock such brutality.
The now colours in Paris this peason are to be "Atlantic Ocean" and "( Serpent, ■ the lightest and darkest of green* ; and '•Partridge," and "Bumble-bee," lightest and darkest of browns. " Dearest," said a sick wife fondly to her husband, "if I should die I wonder if you wouldn't marry ag#in ?" "No, indeed," waa the prompt reply, " I have tried it once, and that's enough for me." She was so mad that she recovered almost immediately.
