London, April Ist. Russia is desirous that the Powers should gire her mandate to occupy Bulgaria. lloseberry, Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs, informed the House of Lords to-day that the Russian Squadron had only gone to Smyrna for the purpose of re- victualling, and would immediately rejoin the combined fleet in Sunda Bay. Roseberry added that Russia was prepared to cordially co* operate with England as to the movements of the squadron.
Constantinople, April 1. Prince Alexander of Bulgaria maintains an unyielding attitude on the Roumelian question, and declines to consent to any limitation of his term of office as Governor of Eastern Uoumelia.
