Some time since tue Ohinemuu County Council applied for a grant in aid oJ: improving the Mackaytown-Owharoa road, .md the County Clerk received the following wire from Mr Grace, M.H.R. thia-day : '' Minister has replied that grant of £500 will be offered to Ohinemuri County on uaual tenna, and agreement will be sent for County Chdinnan's aigaatuie by an early mail."
