I The <|tiarterly meeting of the aboVe for the Upper Thames Circuit was held on Monday last at P«teroa, Rev-. R. Bavin, chairman of the district presiding. Amongst the business discussed was that of the future working of the circuit. T. J. Wills, whortty on account of his tjarnestneSs and A^al, we respect very highly, be appointed our minister for" the ensuing year, and that -such grant be mude from the Home Mission Fund an the state of that fund may permit. The following appointments tfe made for" 1886 \ Meisrs Tetley (PaefdA), and White (te Aroha), Circuit Stewards; Messrs Roberts (Te Aroha), «}. Phillips jdtt. (Paeroa), T. Bellamy (Waitoa), Bemrpse (ShaftesbUry), Lovell (Waiorongomai) t Chappell (Wait&kattri), Warren (Mdfrinsville), Society stewards-. A resolution was passed requesting Messrs Unthank and Reid to act as Society Stewards for Waihi and Owharoa) respectively. A committee of Te Aroha friends we're appointed td consult with- the Chairiiifth respecting the first resolution and the" further working of the Te Aroha Circuit) and a meeting was held on Wednesday evening in the Te* Aroha Wesleyan Churchj Rev. R. Bavin in the dhair".
