A splendid return of 2,2300z5. retorted gold have been obtained as the result of last fortnights operations. For this 551 loads of general stuff and i,o7olbs. specimens were reduced. A later yielding at the rate of nearly an ounce per pound. In breaking down the cross lode this morning in the third slope 2001bs. of specimens were obtained, and gold is Btill visible. About 20lbs picked Btone also came from the side of the winze below No. 3 level.
