DEATHS IN ADELAIDE. By Cable.-v-Press Association. — Copyright. ADELAIDE, December 27. During the heat wave there were 23 deaths in the city, including 20 on Christmas Day. It is considered that half of them were due to the heat. Several cases of apoplexy are reported. THE TOLL-INMELBOURNE. (Rec. Dec.2B, 8.35) MELBOURNE, Dec. 28. During theu week-end the heat wave was responsible for 14 deaths in the city.
