WEDDING.
On Tuesday the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding, the Rev. J. J. North officiating. The, bridegroom was Mr Harvey Clark, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Clark, ot Nelson, and the bride Miss Gladys Denver Clark, youngest daughter of Mrs A. Clark, Fitzgerald Avenue, St. Albans. The bride wore a gown of ivory crepe de Chine, prettily trimmed. With this was worn a crepe de Chine court train, lined with pink crepe de Chine, and trimmed with pearls and orange blossom. Her daintilyembroidered tulle v,eil was arranged in coronet fashion with a wreath qf orange, blossom, and a white shower bouquet was carried. The., bride was attended by her niece, Miss Eva Adnams (as bridesmaid), wearing a dress of China blue crepe de Chine, pfettily trimmed and beaded, and carrying a bouquet of tangerine lilies to harmonise. Little Miss Daphne Hooker (niece of the bride) looked very charming as flower girl, and wore a dainty little dress of ivory crepe de Chine, trimmed with tiny frills. The bridegroom was accompanied by his brother, Mr George Clark, as best man. After the wedding, a gathering of friends and relations was held in the Oxford Terrace Hall, the, bride's mother receiving her guests-in* a black silk dress. Later, Mr and Mrs Harvey Clark left for their honeymoon, the bride wearing a tailored costume of navy serge,, handsomely braided.
