DISPOSAL OF CARRY-OVER. CONFERENCE~OF GROWERS. Bu Cable. — Presi Association. — Copyright. (Rec. Dee. 8, 12.10) MELBOURNE, Dec. 8. A conferance of wool-growers of the Commonwealth, which is considering a scheme for the disposal of the carry-over wools, .amounting, approximately, to 2,000,000 bales,! through the Central Wool Committee, resolved that the British Government be asked to terminate its wool contracts on v say, December 31, making a division of the cash, wool and other assets in the ration of 50 to 50, and that the new Realisation Association then take control of its share. -' The conference decided to request the Rt. Hon. W. M. Hughes to petition the Imperial Government by cable to this effect. The British Government's special committee, which investigated the position, recommended the formation of a British Wool Realisation Association to obtain the control of and dispose of all the Australian carry-over wool in conjunction with the present clip. The conference decided to agree to the principle of the scheme. The conference will to-day further consider the details of the scheme.
