WAIMAKARIRI HARBOUR BOARD.
s. A special meeting of the newly-constitu Waimaknriri Harbour Hoard was held the Borough Council Chambers, Kuiai yesterday. Present:—Messrs W. H. H (Kowai County), I). Hawke (Oxfi County), R. F.vans (Waipara Countv), F. Lane (Rangiora Borough), L. B. Evi (Eyre County). \V. Douhledav (Kaia Borough), T. Stevenson (Cheviot Count H. Tallott (Rangiora Countv), M. Betl (Amuri County), D. R. Hutchison (Ash County), and T. E. Kcctley (Governm nominee). Mr R. Evans was elected chi man. A raotton expressing appreciation of : thanks for the work done by the rctir members of the board was carried. In electing committees, it was deci> that each should consist of live mcmli three to form a quorum. The commit! elected were:—Works, Messrs L. R. Ev (chairman), D. Hawke. T. R. Leithead, ' Tallott and T. E. Keetley; Finance, Me: T. R. Leithead (chairman), L. B. Evans, Hawke, H. Tallott and T. E. Keetley. It was resolved that meetings of the bo be held monthly on the third Tuesday, Jl a.m., the next meeting to take place January.
