New South Wales's first innings closed for 802 (Gregory 43, Hendry 82.). C. Pcllew took three wickets for 119 and Wright three for 101. In its first innings South Australia made 191 (C. Pcllew 73). Mailey took eight wickets for 81. In its second innings Soutli Australia has no wickets down for 6. CANTERBURY BOYS' LEAGUE. In a cricket match at Hagley Park yesterday afternoon, the Riccarton Owners' and Trainers' Association J>cat Everybody's Theatre by 97 runs on the first innings, scoring 106 (J. C. Clarkson 79, J. C. Mullins 33) to Everybody's Theatre's 09 (H. Tankard 21, P. Gilbert 11, A. Chappell 10). TECHNICAL COLLEGE MATCH. , The annual cricket match between the old boys and present students of the Christchurch Technical College was played at Ensor's Road yesterday afternoon. The present students won on the first innings by 46 runs. The old boys hatted first, scoring 102 (H. Bellamy 22, S. Yates IG, W. J. Dobbs 10), and the present students made 148 (Hahn 18, Monroe 36 not out, Chappie 11, Taylor 38, Wilton 16). In the second innings, old bovs made 142 for six wickets (J. Hill 20, G. Stuart 20, S. Yates 11, D. Smith 20, H. Armitage 31, W. J. Dobbs 29 not out). CITY AND SUBURBAN. The executive of the City and Suburban Cricket Association held a special meeting last evening, Mr G. Duggan presiding. The Woolston Club was severely reprimanded for the use of bad language by some of its members, and players vere warned that severe measures would be taken It the offence was repeated. A fine of 10/- was imposed upon the same club because of the refusal of the third grade team to allow an outside team to play on the Woolstpn wicket. A complaint regarding the state of the ■wicket at St. Albans Park was referred to the Ground Committee. For failure to prepare a wicket for visiting teams, the St. John's Club was fined 5/-. No competition matches will be played on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
