DOMINION ASSOCIATION. Press Association. WELLINGTON, September !). A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Dominion Rifle Association was piesided over by Colonel R. J. Collins, C.M.G. (Chief Executive Ofllccr). The proposed programme, drawn up by the executive officer, was submitted, and, with a few minor alterations, approved. Although drawn up on the lines of previous competitions, several new features have been introduced. The prize money amounts to £1750. A Champion Service Team Aggregate has been established, and the conditions nlTecting Service matches have been brought into line wiih the principles governing military competitions. In the King's Prize, the total prize-list is made up to £2OO, the Champion Rifle belt, Gold Medal, Gold badge, and £SO being awarded to the rifle champion. The highest aggregate scorer in both series will receive a gold medal to commemorate the fact that he Is the best shot ill all the individual competitions. Provision has been made for a new competition for Senior Cadets, and seven aggregate prizes for such Cadets as they lire throughout the, meeting. The Territorial Championship, on the lines of the "Army Championship" in Great Britain, is to be introduced. It will be open to one representative from each unit of the Territorial Force, including Senior Cadets. The "1020" target is to be adopted for all competitions up to (100 yards. It is circular, and coloured a very light grey in tiie upper half and sand colour in lower half. It is mounted on a square frame, 4 feel by 4 feet, for 200 and 300 yards, and 0 feet by 6 feet for 500 and (HIO yards. The upper half only of the bull's-eye is black, as an aiming mark. The "bull's-eye" target will be used for ranges from 800. yards to 1000 yards.
