HURUNUI RABBIT TRUSTEES.

A meeting of the Iluruinii Rabbit Trustees was held nt Culverden on Saturday, there being present:—Messrs T. C. Robinson (in the chair), \V. \V. Mcßae, 11. T. Little, G. 0. Rutherford and Inspector Neville. The inspector's report staled Unit during the month of August the Hothcrham. llurunui, Balmoral, Culverden and Wnitohi districts had been inspected, but there wis still a Rood deal of work to be done on a lot of the properties. One block on which trappers were at work is to he poisoned immediately the rabbits have quietened down alter the trapping, it being pointed oat that trapping lias a had effect on the rabbits taking poison. It was resolved to place 15 chains of nettings along a fence near the Hay of Biscay concrete Mall.
