AMERICAN PRESIDENCY.
SEEKING GERMAN VOTE. CHARGE AGAINST HARDING. By Cable.- — Press Association.—Copyright. Australian and A'.Z. Cable Association. (Rec. Sept. 6, 9.15) NEW YORK, Sept. 4. The "New York Times" states that a national movement has been launched to enlist 6,000,000 voters of German descent to elect Mr Warren G. Harding (the Republican candidate) in order to secure a separate peace with Germany, and to defeat the League of Nations. Mr Harding, speaking at Marion, denied that he was appealing to any group or class of citizens for support. He was only asking real Americans to vote for him. 1 ' i »*'" ■-
