MILITARY TRAINING.

OPPOSED BY PRESBYTERY. Press Association, WELLINGTON, August 11. The principle of military training was denounced by speakers at last night's meeting of the Wellington Prestfytery, as tending further towards warfare and as being inimical to the moral uplifting of the youth of the country. A motion fully setting out the reasons for objecting-to the Government's military proposals was discussed at some length, and the discussion was then adjourned to the next meeting.
