In the House of Commons, Mr Lloyd George said the real explanation of the high cost of living was ! not due to profiteering, but to the I ! devaluation of money. This existed the world over. Great Britain was j now paying over (i/- in the £ ex- ' chance in America for all purchases. I The only remedy was increased projduetion. In reference to economy, he was | glad to say the forthcoming Budget i would more than balance.
