MAFALDA REPORTED LOST.
By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Vnited Service. (Rcc. Jan. 11, 2.10) LONDON, Jan. 12. Tlie reported loss of the steamer Mafalda has mystified Europe.
Every report has been traced back to the same source, namely, a statement by '"II Secolo," but the owners and Llovd's do not confirm it. [The Mafalda is an Italian steamer of 113 tons, built in London ill 1005.]
